Some short stacks are holding tough and staying in the game. One of them is Tsuyoshi Ishibashi. After Mark Amparo’s 6k raise, Ishibashi went all in with 16.6k in chips. Amparo called and it was a showdown.

Chang Hun Lee picks up a good pot

We seem to be missing some of Chang Hun Lee’s big pots but mid-sized ones can also keep a stack healthy. In this hand, Chris Mateo raised to 6k but got popped to 19k by the chip leader Chang Hun Lee. Mateo called and the flop ran 7 3 2. Mateo checked, Lee bet 35k, Mateo folded.


Jongyeol earns big pot vs Nguyen

Level: 12 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

On a full board of 8 7 3 3 4, two of the day’s big stacked players Kimura Lee Jongyeol and Van Sang Nguyen got to betting. Nguyen was first and slid out 23k, Lee raised to 50k, Nguyen called. Jongyeol won it with 4 4. Jongyeol climbed to 235k.


Khanh falls to Jiandoni

Le Ngoc Khanh tried to get things going today but instead his chips kept decreasing until it was down to 31.7k. He went all in and Rajesh Jiandoni called.

Alegado eliminates Pat

Three players looked down on a board of K 6 K and first to act was Gerard Bringley. He bet 5k, was called by Nehmee Alegado, Clarence Pat shoved, Bringley folded, and Alegado called.

Sim Jae Kyung aka Simba has just played his last hand of the Main Event. He moved all in with his short stack and Kunal Patni called.

Takayama’s aces burned out by Park

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Previous APT Main Event champion Mike Takayama has just been dealt a crushing blow sending him out of the running. The hand began with Rodolfo Feliciano raising to 5500, ByungIl Park three-bet to 12.5k, Takayama four-bet to 26.7k, Feliciano folded, Park went all in with his 70k stack, and Takayama joined him with less, around 60k.

The board ran   2 10 J keeping Takayama ahead, but with the turn of Q, Park overtook with a set. The river of 3 sealed the win and the defeat. Park up to 140k in chips.

Lester Edoc and Toniyoung Degracia gunned for this big pot that we caught on the turn betting with a pot of over 100k already weighing down the middle of the felt.The board was 3 5 8 2 and Degracia bet (we missed the amount), Edoc raised to make it an additional 45k more. Degracia called and the river was felted 2. Edoc moved all in easily covering Degracia’s remaining stack. Degracia opted to fold and Edoc shipped in a big pot. He is now up to 250k whiled Degracia fell to 40k.
