We missed the action of this hand that sent the pot to 40k before the final betting round. With a completed board of 4 Q 8 A 2, Beitong Liang shoved all his chips in the middle to put Marc Rivera in dilemma. It took a bit of time for Rivera to decide but when he did, he tossed one chip in the middle signalling a call.

The flop ran Q 5 10 and three players checked.Last to act, Junko Hirai bet 8k, and was called by Yoichi Uesugi and Bertrand Ortiz. The turn was next, 9, and they all waved off betting. On the river of J, Uesugi jumped out with an 11k bet, and was called by Ortiz. Hirai folded.

Amparo back to starting stack

Mark Amparo landed a sweet double up with the nuts hole hand, pocket aces. The action kicked off with Martin Gonzales raising to 1350 which found three callers. On Amparo’s turn, he moved all in for 21,850 to call. Out of all the players hoping to player the hand, only Jessie Supnet called.

Jongyeol denied the pot, splits with Seto

After the pot was pumped up preflop, three players remained, Takeshi Seto, Shunsuke Tsuji, and Kimura Lee Jongyeol. The flop came 10 J 9, Seto checked, Tsuji bet 3500, Jongyeol check-raised to 16k, and Seto moved all in for a total of 16,050. Jongyeol and Tsuji both called.

On the turn of 8, Tsuji checked, Jongyeol jammed all in for a side pot, but Tsuji backed out.

Action between Richard Marquez and Ceesvin Abdulla began with Marquez limping in, Abdulla raising to 1200, Marquez three-betting to 3500, and a call from Abdulla.

The flop came K 9 2, Marquez continued and laid out a 2800 bet, Abdulla called. On the turn of 7, Marquez checked, Abdulla bet 4500, Marquez raised to 10.3k, and Abdulla surrendered his stake on the pot.


Tseng vs Jongyeol

On a flop of K 5 4, and a turn of Q, Kimura Lee Jongyeol checked while Tseng Wei Ming bet 2800. Jongyeol called. On the river of 2, Jongyeol jumped out with a 5200 bet and took it with no call from Tseng.


Yasuke finishes off Ward

Thomas Ward was all in with a short stack and Kakuchi Yasuke called after a bit of tanking.

On a flop of 7 10 K, heavy betting action followed with John Tech laying out a bet, Ha Duong raising, Tech moving all in, and Duong calling for his tournament life.
