Yumul claims a pot against Khanh

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

With 19.6k already swimming in the middle, Tristan Yumul and Le Ngoc Khanh stared down a board of 6 5 A Q. Yumul bet 8k, Khanh raised to 21k, and Yumul flat-called. On the river of 9, no betting action came and Yumul won with A J top pair.


Mcauley doubles up through Tsuda

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

William Mcauley was all in with A 6 and Michiya Tsuda called.

The board ran 9 A 4 6 K giving Mcauley a higher pair and a much needed double up to 50k.


Bringley up to 170k

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Gerard Bringley picked up a good pot. He raised to 4500 preflop and got called by Graeme Siow on the big blind. The flop ran 7 J Q and Siow checked to Bringley who bet out 5k. Siow called. The turn of 3 was the same with Siow check-calling Bringley’s 9500 bet. The river of A kept both honest with a check. Bringley won with Q J second pair against Siow’s X?js} 10 lower pair.


Tseng doubles up through Ishibashi

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Another all in situation preflop with Tseng Wei Min holding K K and caller Tsuyoshi Ishibashi with 8 8. The board didn’t improve Ishibashi and Tseng doubled up to 80k.


Nguyen rails Jeon

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Two-time APT Main Event champion Jeon Seung Soo is out of the running for another trophy as he was just dusted by Van Sang Nguyen. It was an all in moment preflop.

Sayo wins two sizable pots

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

JC Sayo, the young-un with two trophies in this series already, picked up a couple of big pots to bring his stack to around 130k.

On the first hand, he stared down a board of 2 8 9 and checked to Marc Rivera who bet out 8k. Next was Ron Manning with a call. Sayo then check-raised all in for an additional 29.8k to call. Rivera folded but Manning obliged.

The turn of Q improved Sayo to top pair and with the river of 6, he secured the win and a double up. Sayo up to 100k, Manning down ot 50k.

On the next hand, Alexis Lim kicked it off with a 4600 raise, Manning called, Jose Drilon three-bet to 18k, Sayo four-bet to 43k, and everyone folded. Drilon showed his Q Q fold.


Bonanno celebrates a double up

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

It was a good push for Jim Bonanno with action started off by Mark Amparo. Amparo raised to 4500, Jeon Seung Soo and Van Sang Nguyen called, then Bonanno moved all in for 42.8k more.

Amparo and Nguyen folded but Jeon threw in the call.

Patni doubles up through Simba

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

It was a preflop shove that had both Kunal Patni and Sim Jae Kyung aka Simba turning over their hole cards.

The board ran low and Patni’s kicker played for a double up to around 70k. Simba down to  35k.


Degracia loses some to Seitaro

Level: 11 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

On a flop of A Q 2, Toniyoung Degracia and Aso Seitaro checked to get a free turn of 4. Degracia led out for 4k and Seitaro called. On the river of K, they both checked it and Seitaro won wit A 5. Degracia had 7 2.
