A winning straight for Nguyen

On a complete board of Q 8 9 10 2, Van Sang Nguyen bet 87k onto a big splashy pot and Henrik Tollefsen called. Nguyen had A-J for a straight. Tollefsen mucked. Nguyen up to 390k and Tollefsen down to 220k.


Sayo rises to 340k

JC Sayo is inching slowly upwards. He now has 340k after winning this hand. Sayo three-bet to 45k and got two players to join him to the flop of 9 6 7. Wasting no time, Sayo went all in. With no takers, he won the pot.


Mateo bluffs Chang Hun

Both Chris Mateo and Chang Hun Lee faced off in this hand. The board already had a flop of A Q 6 when we checked in. Lee checked to Mateo who bet 14k, Lee called. The turn of 10 saw Lee check again, Mateo banged out 45k and got called again. Then on the river of 5, Lee checked, Mateo announced all in for a total of 211k. This sent Lee into silence for quite some time until he finally opted to fold. Mateo scooped up the pot and showed his J 7 bluff.


Good pot for Zhao against Funabashi

On a flop of 9 A 5, Jun Funabashi and Feng Zhao checked and the turn landed 4. Funabashi set the action with a 12k bet and Zhao called. On the river of J, Funabashi checked it while Zhao did the opposite and bet 40k. Funabashi called and mucked when he saw Zhao’s A J two pair


Short stacked Tanaka falls to Mateo

Masatoshi Tanaka was all in with K-Q and Chris Mateo had him with A-Q. The board bricked and Tanaka was out.

Catching the action at the flop of J 5 6, three players were in the hand. First up was Gerard Bringley on the small blind. He checked. Junichi Nakagiri checked as well on the big blind. Jin Yong bet 17.5k. Bringley called and the bb folded. The turn of 5 had both players check to get a free river of 7. Bringley jumped out and laid out a 25.5k bet, and Yong called. Bringley opened up A 5 for a winning trips. Bringley up to 420k.

Intense hand between Lester Edoc and Henrik Tollefsen. Action began with Tollefsen laying out an 11k raise preflop, Edoc re-raising from the sb seat to 28k, and Tollefsen called.

At the flop of 6 10 A, Edoc checked then called Tollefsen’s 32k bet. At the turn of 8 they both checked. Then on the river of 8, Edoc checked to Tollefsen who sent out 42k, and that ended the hand. Edoc folded.
