HomeVietnamese Huy Pham opened the preflop betting to 10,500 and got a call from Michael Marvanek of Australia.
On the flop 3♣ 9♥ J♥ Pham led out with 12,000 only to see Marvanek up it to 27,000. Pham three-bet and then Marvanek four-bet all-in for his final 130,000 or so.
Pham called.
Marvanek had pocket nines and was ahead of the Vietnamese who had pocket threes.
Turn J♠ and river 5♣ did not change anything pushing the Australian’s stack to nearly 300,000.
