Falling on the first hand of the day was Vivian Im with Sim Jae Kyung aka Simba sending her out. Simba is the day’s entering chip leader. He climbed to 572k.

Next out was Doug Hartwick falling to Christopher Kwong. Kwong now at 160k.

Iori Yogo couldn’t get the boost he needed falling to Andre Lettau whose A 7 landed trips on the board 10 7 3 7 6.

The fourth to exit was short stacked Xing Yu Ren bumped out by N-Rak Lertphokhanon with pocket tens doing the job over nine-six offsuit. Lertphokhanon goes up to 340k.

APT Philippines II 2019 enters the next stage of the MAIN EVENT with the 66 players returning for Day 3. The agenda is to reach the money of 52 places then onward to a seat to the Final 8. The featured event has been running since September 13 attracting a Philippine series record-breaking 515 entries at host venue Resorts World Manila at the new Grand Wing. With buy-in at PHP 55,000,000 (~USD 1,100) the prize pool broke well past the guarantee (PHP 10M) for a much wealthier PHP 24,977,500 (~USD 480,000). For the eventual champion, PHP 5,185,500 (~USD 99,500) awaits along with the APT Trophy and APT Championship Ring.
