Lester Edoc started the day below average stack and is now one of the front runners with 217k. One of the pots he shipped saw three players in a limped pot (4800). The flop and turn came A 3 K 9, bb Edoc checked, cutoff John Beveridge checked, and button Doug Hartwich checked. On the river 6, Edoc bet 7k, no callers.


Arvhin Malinab down to 115k

Arvhin Malinab entered the day with 147k but dropped to around 100k. We caught him win a pot just now to bump it back up a bit to 115k. On a full board 3 J Q 7 J and 11.7k already built, Malinab bet 12.7k and his two challengers folded.


Li Heng up to 145k

Another player with a big stack out there is Li Heng with around 145k. One small pot helping him get there saw three players in on a raised pot preflop and the board showed 9 3 3. Utg+1 Heng bet 4500, no callers.


Yi Wei Peng earns off Anh Nguyen

On a raised pot preflop two players stared down a flop Q 6 2, mp player Yi Wei Peng bet 3k, hijack Anh Nguyen called. On the turn Q, another 5k sent out by Peng, called by Nguyen. The river 8 saw both check. Peng showed A 6, Nguyen mucked. Peng up to 130k, Nguyen dropped to 45k.


Mike Takayama delivers a bad beat

Two-time APT champion Mike Takayama got lucky on a player with 7 7 spiking a set to defeat 8 8. Takayama now up to 110k.


Julien Weymouth continues to climb

At the end of the opening level, Julien Weymouth climbed to over 200k. His rise continued. Catching one of his winning hands, utg opened to 2400, called by three players including Weymouth on the button. At the flop K 5 6, utg c-bet 6k, two folds followed, Weymouth raised to 18.5k, utg jammed (22k), Weymouth called.

Three players were in on a raised pot initiated by mid position Sebastian Wong. All three ended up putting in 12.5k each for an expensive look at the flop A J J. Sb Tetsuya Enoki checked, Wong all in (400), cutoff Vincent Chauve called, Enoki called. On the turn 6, Enoki bet 10k for a side pot, Chauve called. On the river 8, Enoki fired 20k and this time Chauve decided to fold while showing his A K top two pair. It was a good fold with Enoki holding A J full house. Wong busted with A Q. Enoki now up to 180k.

On the flop 3 2 9, Thompson checked, Im c-bet 2200, Pan called, Thompson folded. On the turn 5, Im checked, Pan bet 6500, Im folded.
