David Erquiaga has 210k and according to him, he doubled up his 100k stack against APT champion Czardy Rivera. Erquiaga had pocket aces, Rivera with pocket kings, board bricked. Rivera plummeted to 2k then busted.


Robert Uy denies Julien Weymouth, climbs to 400k

Robert Uy got the best of Julien Weymouth. We only caught the action at the shipping. Weymouth had Q-10 top pair that didn’t improve to the river. Uy had pocket sixes that found a friend on the flop. Uy up to 400k. From what we heard, prior to this hand, a bigger pot went down between them that doubled up Uy and Weymouth in the red. 


Khao Kah Hock rails Jessie Leonarez

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 2000

A pot of 15k was formed preflop between two players, Jessie Leonarez and Khao Kah Hock. At the flop K 6 J, Khao bet 10k, Leonarez raised to 30k, Khao called. On the turn 8, check by Khao, Leonarez shoved, called by Khao.

The river 5 didn’t improve Leonarez, he busted. Khao rose to 270k.


Mai Anh up to 280k

Mai Anh is giving the boys a beating at her table. She carries the dominating stack of 280k after scooping up a big pot. Catching the action on the flop 3 7 6 and 16k in the middle, Wooh Yun Yang checked, Anh bet 13k, Yang called. On the turn J, same action with a 15k bet called by Yang. The river 7 both checked, Anh showed K K, Yang 8 8.


Tom Alner rises to 90k

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 2000

Plenty of action preflop led to two players all in, William Ysmael and Tom Alner. Alner was the at-risk player with A K, Ysmael had 10 10. The board immediately granted the higher pair running K 8 4 2 6. Alner up to 90k.


Double KO! Lester Edoc up to 375k

Bang bang! The only player to win a back-to-back APT Philippines Main Event was Lester Edoc in 2018. Edoc is in fine form here. He has been on the rise since he sat down and now holds the commanding chip lead with 375k. He shipped a huge pot by knocking out two players. It was all in preflop:

Xing Yu Ren joins the 200k club

Two big stacks went at it at table 16, Tetsuya Enoki and Xing Yu Ren. It kicked off with mp Xing limping in, sb Enoki raised to 13k, bb Michael Kim Falcon called, back to Xing who called for a three-way look at the flop 2 3 5. Enoki bet 30k, Falcon folded, Xing called. On the turn 4, Enoki opted to check, Xing jammed, Enoki folded and showed Q Q overpair. Xing returned the gesture showing 6 6 straight. Xing up to 225k.


Mai Anh on the rise, up to 205k

Level: 13 Blinds: 800-1600 Ante: 1600

Another all in preflop called. Mai Anh A K, at-risk player with A Q, the board ran K 9 5 7 9. Anh up to 205k which is just about double what she started with today.


Xing Yu Ren ships it to rise to 140k

Level: 13 Blinds: 800-1600 Ante: 1600

Xing Yu Ren called Joemark Vasay’s preflop shove. The board completed A 6 9 3 4. Xing with A K, Vasay with A Q. Vasay eliminated. Xing rose to 140k.
