Nakajima Shigenori has risen to the chip leader’s seat once again. While Andre Moracchini (entering level leader) lost some chips, at Shigenori’s table, he gained two pots with one of them sending a player to the rail.
The first pot was up against Kyohei Yoshizawa. Shigenori raised to 7k preflop and from the button Yoshizawa made the call. At the flop J♣ 6♦ Q♥, Shigenori continued with a 7k bet and was called by Yoshizawa. On the 7♠ turn, Shigenori bumped up his bet to 20k and still, Yoshizawa called despite his stack getting dangerously low. The river J♣ saw both players check and Shigenori won with his A♣ A♠.
The next hand Shigenori won was up against Kosaku Akashi. The board came Q♣ 3♣ 9♣ 5♣ 3♥ giving Akashi the nut flush with his A♣ 10♥ but it was still not good enough to beat Shigenori’s Q♦ Q♥ full house. Akahsi busted out.
Shigenori now at 415k.
