We are back at the Main Event of the APT Manila 2017 with the final 12 out of the 82 entrants ready to battle their way to the title. At yesterday’s Day 2, UK’s Neil Raine amassed a pile of chips that dwarfed every single other players stacks entering today. This is Raine’s first tournament in Asia and he is in prime position to take it down with an enormous 1,217,000 in chips.
Out of all the players in the lineup, the most decorated is Japan’s Kosei Ichinose. He is one of Asia’s leading pro players however the APT title has continued to elude him. All the players today will be seeking their first APT championship title.
Usually we play down to the money in Day 3 then the Final 8 tomorrow, but since the money is two spots away with only 10 seeing a return, it was decided that players will race to the trophy. The eventual winner will pocket the PHP 757,800 first place money along with the APT Championship Ring.
Stay with us as we will have live updates for you up until the Final 8. From there, you can watch the game live on APT Twitch (30 minute delay).
