China’s Jin Bo had a sizable stack entering the day but must have lost it prior to his head-to-head against Scott Silberman. On a flop of 3♠ 9♣ 10♣, Silberman shoved on the button and Bo check-called.

Intense battle between Kyohei Yoshizawa and Kosei Ichinose at table 1. We caught the action on a turn board of J♣ 3♥ 8♣ 5♦ and 28.5k already brewed. Ichinose checked, Yoshizawa fired out 11k, and Ichinose called. On the river J♥, Ichinose took the lead and quietly slid out 28k big ones.
This sent Yoshizawa tanking for some time, especially that if he lost, it would leave him with a very short stack. However, he did muster up the courage to call and the cards were flipped open.
Ichinose 8♥ 7♥ two pair
Yoshizawa A♥ A♦ higher two pair
Yoshizawa won the pot and increased to 119k.
Ichinose dropped to 45k.
Takao Shimizu and Mohammad Samara engaged in a preflop war that began with Shimizu raising to 3k from mid position. From the small blind, Samara pumped it up to 8500 only to see a four-bet to 28k from Shimizu. Samara surrendered his hand.
Joon Won “James” Lee defended his small blind by calling short stacked Yukihiro Kuroda’s raise to 3k. At the flop of 3♦ Q♠ 9♣ both players checked to get a free 10♦ turn. Lee led for 2k and Kuroda called. On the river 6♦,Lee slid out 6k and this time he won it with Kuroda backing down.
A couple of hands after, the even shorter stacked Kuroda busted out and became the first casualty of Day 2.
Past APT Main Event champion Iori Yogo picked up a small one against Koji Asaka. Yogo raised to 3500 two seats over from the big blind Asaka and with action folding around, Asaka called.
On the 7♥ Q♣ J♥ flop, Asaka checked then folded to Yogo’s 3500 continuation bet.
Andre Moracchini is back pushing around his chips early in the game. He did win a hand but lost a sizable one to the chip leader Neil Raine.
On the first hand, Moracchini was up against Go Mori. A raised pot of around 9k was swimming in the middle with bot players faced with a flop of A♠ 4♥ Q♣. On the bb seat, Mori bet 7k and Moracchini replied with a 22.7k raise on the button. Mori folded.
The next hand, Neil Raine was in the pot against Moracchini and both stared down a J♥ 3♦ J♦ board. Moracchini bet out 10.5k and Raine check-called. On the 3♣ turn, action was the same with Raine check-calling a lowered 10k bet by Moracchini, then on the 7♥ river, Raine took the lead and slid out 11 yellows totaling to 55k. Moracchini called then mucked after seeing Raine’s J♠ 8♥ full house.

We are back at the felt with 47 players for Day 2! They will play a scheduled rounds or to the money of 10 players. Leading in chips is UK’s Neil Raine with a huge 272,600 in chips.
