Decorated APT champion, Choong Kian Weng, went head-to-head against Kazuhiko Yosushika in two separate hands that sent Yosushika re-entering just before the final buzzer. The first hand between them saw a flop 8♦ 9♠ 10♦. Yosushika moved all in with 8♣ 9♣, one player folded, and Weng called with J♠ Q♣. The turn 4♠ and river J♦ kept Weng ahead for a double up.
The next hand came several orbits later. Yosushika shoved his short stack with K-J and Weng sent him packing with his 4-4 set.
