Only two players are over 1 Million and both of them are at the same table. They ran into each other twice with each one besting the other.
The first one saw Hele Hele Liu raise to 25k and big blind Evgeny Kurilenko called on the big blind. At the flop 10♦ 9♠ 7♥, Kurilenko checked then called Liu’s 34k bet. On the A♥ turn, action was the same with Kurilenko calling a 100k bet. Then on the 2♣ river, no bets came and Kurilenko won with his A♣ 10♥ two pair.
Several hands later, both players stared down a board 7♥ 4♣ A♣ J♦ 5♠ with 225k already brewed. Kurilenko bet 130k then faced a shove by Liu. He had around 790k. Kurilenko tanked for quite some time then opted to fold. Liu sighed loudly saying “biggest bluff ever” and Kurilenko replied back, “that wasn’t a bluff”.
Liu nears 1.1M while Kurilenko dropped to 900k.
