Stacks are getting plumper with players steadily falling. We had just written about Ben Lai and his preflop takedown but when we went back to check on his table, he was already gone. Dong Guo filled us with the details.
China’s Wong Yong Pan raised from the utg seat and Ben Lai called on the small blind. At the flop 3-6-7 Lai check-called Pan’s bet. On the 6♥ turn with now a second heart on the board, Lai checked, Pan bet 11k, Lai shoved. Pan called. Lai had A♥ 7♥ for a pair, nut flush draw, and a gutshot draw but Pan was ahead with A-6 trips. The river was a dud and Lai was left the scene.
Pan now sits with well over 200k.
