Weiyi Zhang doubles through Huang Gwang Lun

Weiyi Zhang’s swung wildly early in the day but found a way to settle down and go in one direction, upwards. In a hand against Huang Gwang Lun, Zhang did more than grind for chips, he earned a double up to send Huang’s stack spiraling down to one chip.

On a flop of A 7 4, Huang bet 16.5k onto a raised pot preflop and Zhang check-called. On the 4 turn, action was the same with Zhang check-calling a 45k bet. Then on the 9 river, Zhang put his tournament life on the line by calling Huang’s all in while holding less chips. It was a good decision as Huang only had K-Q. Zhang shipped in the massive pot with his winning Q Q.

Huang was eliminated on the next hand.
