Alexander Ugay was the next casualty of Day 3 getting the boot by chip leader Jinwoo Kim. Ugay initiated the action with a raise to 27k, sb Kim re-raised to 90k, bb Hyun Kyu Bae folded, Ugay shoved, and Kim with the quick call.

Sang Gu Kim has fallen out of the running in 16th place. Sam lost a showdown against Teruhisa Aoyama then tossed the rest on the next hand. The first hand Sang raised to 30k, Aoyama shoved, and Sang with the call for slightly more chips.

Shortly after doubling up Fokin Valeriy, Kelvin Beattie entered another pot while sitting on the big blind. He was up against button player Paul Hong. According to the players, the shoves were on the turn on a completed board J-J-10-5-7. Hong hand J-9 and Beattie with J-8. Kicker played.

Beattie earned KRW 2,468,000 for his deep run.


Fokin Valeriy bags two double ups! Zooms to 600K

Fokin Valeriy can’t believe but he has doubled up not once but twice to charge up the ranks over average stack. The first all in saw Shota Masuda raise to 22k, Kelvin Beattie three- bet to 54k, Valeriy four-bet shove 124k, Masuda fold, and Beattie called.

Shin Martin got all his chips in against the dominating chip leader, Jinwoo Kim. Martin held A K and Kim with A 10. When the board ran 8 7 K 9 J, Martin landed a top pair but Kim completed a straight sending Martin out of the running. Martin earne KRW 2,468,000 for his finish. Kim now at 1.2M in chips.

We just witnessed one of the most heated moments in the game so far today. Action began with hijack player Kosei Ichinose raising ot 20k, cutoff Jinwoo Kim three-bet to 60k, button Hyun called, and Ichinose joined for a three-way to the flop.

Flop 7 2 8, Ichinose checked, Kim c-bet 50k, Hyun called, and Ichinose folded. At the 3 turn, Kim fired out 100k, and Hyun called. On the A river, Kim slid out 221k, and this time, Hyun halted for a minute or two. He counted out the bet but opted to fold and give up his stake on the pot. Hyun drops to around 600K, Kim soars to 1M.
