Paul Hong continues to hold the chip lead especially after winning this pot. He raised to 65k from the cutoff and got Masaki Fujitani defended on the big blind. At the flop Q J 9, Fujitani checked, Hong bet 80k, and got called. On the Q turn, Hong sent out 275k and Fujitani folded.

Okabe Shoei was the next casualty of the final table. He raised to 95k, Masaki Fujitani three-bet to 235k, and with less, Shoei called for his tournament life.

The board ran K 8 4 5 10 for a pair spiked by Fujitani on the river to eliminate Shoei in 7th place. Shoei earned KRW 5,458,000 for his deep run.


Jinwoo Kim tanks Roman Shcherbakov

Jinwoo Kim raised to 50k on the button, was called by sb Roman Shcherbakov and bb Paul Hong. At the flop Q 7 K, action was checked to the raiser Kim who c-bet 54k. Only Shcherbakov called. On the J turn, Shcherbakov checked, Kim pushed out 500k that welll covered Shcherbakov sending him to the tank. Shcherbakov eventually folded leaving himself around 400K.


Big stacks battle: Paul Hong vs Jinwoo Kim

The chip leaders just went at it for a pot. Paul Hong raised to 51k and Jinwoo Kim defended on the big blind. Ath the flop Q J 10, Kim checked, Hong bet 75k, and Kim called. On the 2 turn, Hong fired out 200k, and Kim check-folded to award the pot to Hong.


Hyun Kyu Bae picks up two pots

Hyun Kyu Bae is on the move… he has just claimed two pots nearly back-to-back. On the first hand, he defended his big blind, calling a 51k raise by Masaki Fujitani. At the flop Q 4 2, no bets came. On the J turn, Hyun led for 75k and Fujitani called. On the 9 river, Hyun banged out 127k, and this time took it with Fujitani folding. Both players now have around 900k.


Jinwoo Kim crosses into 2M range

JInwoo Kim continues to rise winning a big pot against Masaki Fujitani who just lost two pots. Fujitani raised to 53k on the button, Kim three-bet to 137k on the small blind, Fujitani four-bet to 283k, Kim shoved, and Fujitani folded. Kim won the pot which sends him over 2M while Fujitani dropped to 1M.

Utg Masaki Fujitani initiated action with a raise to 50k and bb player Jason Sun called. At the flop J 7 10, Sun check-called a 42k c-bet. On the Q turn, both players checked. Then on the 4 river, Sun check-called a 105k bet and won it with K Q over Fujitani’s K J.

Fujitani lost the next hand as well. He called Okabe Shoei’s raise of 75k, saw a flop 7 K 5, Shoei bet 135k, and Fujitani check-folded.


Hyun Kyu Bae sends Teruhisa Aoyama down to 1k chip and out in 8th – KRW 4,542,000

After losing a sizable chunk to Jinwoo Kim, Hyun Kyu Bae won a pot on an uncalled three-bet preflop then followed it up with a huge double up from Teruhisa Aoyama. Aoyama had just arrived and moved all in with around 400k. Hyun called.
