Dong Ni still falls, Kam Ip Yuk climbs to 750K

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Not long after Kam Ip Yuk took a chunk of Dong Ni’s stack, she was all in with A-J and got called by her nemesis Yuk with 8-8. The board bricked and that ended her run seven spots from the money. As for Yuk, he is now at 750K and is the clear chip leader at the moment.

Masaki Fujitani crosses 600K

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Masaki Fujitani has continued to maintain his big stack throughout the day and has now built it up to 615K. The most recent hand that helped him get there was against Masuda Shota. Utg Fujitani raised to 8k, button Shota three-bet to 23.5k, Fujitani four-bet to 56k, and Shota called. At the flop 8 10 3, Fujitani c-bet 47k and won it with Shota folding up.

Kam Ip Yuk continues the aggression, tanks Dong Ni

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Kam Ip Yuk is back as the chip leader having claimed a very big pot against Dong Ni. As the clear aggressor at the felt, and a stack to do so, Yuk and Ni faced a board 4 6 3 and 58k in the middle. We aren’t sure of the action but we did see button player Yuk with 55k in front of him and the all in button, while small blind Ni had 130k bet out and was tanking. The clock was called on Ni. She eventually folded. Yuk now up to 655K.

Hyun Kyu Bae doubles up through Paul Hong

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Catching the action at the shipping, the board was 5 K 7 3 8. Hyun Kyu Bae was collecting the pot with his A A besting Paul Hong’s K 10. Shoves were at the flop. Hyun now up to 260k.

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Premium hands were felted at table 2 with Chung Iwakura having the better hand against Kam Ip Yuk to double up to 200k. On a completed board of K J 5 5 Q, Iwakura was all in with K K and got full pay from Yuk who held A 10 straight.

Lei Chen rails Stephen Nathan

Level: 13 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 500

Stephen Nathan was the day’s entering chip leader but he couldn’t match his Day 1A performance. As tables collapsed and players around him chipping up, his stack dwindled and got it all in with 5-5. He was called by Lei Chen with A-A. The board bricked to send him off well before the money. Chen climbs to 445k.

Win some lose some for Sang Gu Kim

Level: 13 Blinds: 1500-3000 Ante: 500

Sang Gu Kim has been sitting with a sizable stack all day. We happen to catch him involved in two back-to-back pots that saw him down a little then back up. The first hand saw a 90k pot brewed in the middle and board 5 10 7 K. Sb Kim checked to the aggressive playing Kam Ip Yuk who fired out 100k. Kim folded.

The next hand, Kim raised to 11k, Ryo Tomita shoved his short stack, Kim called. Kim A Q and Tomita with A 10. The board ran 8 K 5 7 Q to boot out Tomita. Kim back up to 385K.
