First win, in a battle of the blinds, Horikawa limped and Furuya checked. The flop ran A♣ 6♦ 3♠, both checked. On the 10♥ turn, Horikawa bet 25k and Furuya called. On the 7♠ river, Horikawa bet 75k, Furuya raised to 150k, Horikawa called. Furuya won it with A♠ 6♣ two pair.
Next pot, Furuya raised to 55k and Horikawa called from the big blind. At the flop K♦ 5♠ A♦, both checked. On the 8♠ turn, Horikawa bet 75k, Furuya raised to 225k, Horikawa called. On the 3♠ river, Horikawa fired out 325k and Furuya matched it. Horikawa mucked as soon as he saw Furuya’s 5♦ 5♣ set.
With just over 1.3M, another pot went down between the two. On a full board 2♣ 2♦ 7♦ A♠ K♦, Horikawa bet 125k, Furuya raised to 225k, Horikawa called. Furuya had A♦ 10♦ nut flush over Horikawa’s J♦ 6♦ lower flush.
Furuya climbed to 1.8M while Horikawa dropped to 570k.
The day’s entering chip leader Tsubasa Kamei has taken a beating to his stack all day and dropped down to a short stack. He managed to bring it up in a few hands. The first was winning a good pot against Daiki Horikawa with 9♠ 8♠ straight over A-10 on a board of 7♠ 7♥ 10♠ 2♦ 6♦.
Next win was against Iori Yogo who raised to 50k, called by Kamei on the big blind. At the flop 3♥ J♥ 10♠, both checked. On the K♥ turn, Yogo bet 55k and Kamei check-raised to 175k. Yogo folded.
Kamei picked up another against Horikawa. Utg Kamei raised to 55k and db Horikawa called. At the flop 10♣ 6♠ 4♥, Kanei bet 55k and won it with Horikawa folding.
On a board of 4♦ 7♥ 5♠, Tomoharu Furuya was all in with A♣ 7♠ and was up against Daiki Horikawa with 8♦ 7♦. The turn and river were blanks and Furuya doubled up to nearly 700k.
Daiki Horikawa is now the new chip leader. He climbed past Iori Yogo in two hands. First pot he won over 100K from Tsubasa Kamei. Immediately after, he raised to 60k, sb Yosuke Murata re-raised to 125k, Kamei called, back to Horikawa who four-bet to 325k, Murata folded, and Kamei tank-called.
At the flop 6♦ 10♠ 2♣ both checked. On the 9♠ turn, Kamei checked, Horikawa all in, fold by Kamei. Horikawa up to 1.9M.
Tomoharu Furuya is the shortest stack of the final five but no one seems to have the courage to take on his shoves. One shove, Furuya raised to 55k and big blind Tusbasa Kamei called. At the flop 9♥ 5♦ 5♣, Kamei checked, Furuya all in, Kamei folded after getting a count. Furuya had 176k.
Next shove, Iori Yogo raised to 45k, Furuya all in, Yogo folded.
After Daiki Horikawa railed Stu Terakawa, he continued to scoop up pots. His recent one was against the leader Iori Yogo. From the button, Horikawa raised to 35k and Yogo defended on the big blind. At the flop 10♣ 5♥ 4♣, Yogo checked, Horikawa c-bet 35k, Yogo raised to 100k, Horikawa called. The turn Q♣ and river K♦ no bets came and Horikawa won with 10♦ 3♦ pair. Yogo had J♣ 6♠.
Yosuke Murata is into the million range. He’s picked up numerous small pots and a fairly bigger one against Tomoharu Furuya. Catching the action on a turn board 8♣ 7♦ 7♥ 7♠, Murata shoved and Furuya folded.

Stu Terakawa couldn’t ge much going today. He took one final stand moving all in with J♣ J♠. He was called by Daiki Horikawa with 10♣ 10♥. The board ran 6♥ 7♥ 2♦ 4♠ 10♦ for a lucky two-outer to Horikawa spiked on the river. Terakawa earned ₩8,098,000 for his deep finish at the Main Event.

Having just lost a pot to Iori Yogo, Tsubasa Kamei lost another one, this time to Daiki Horikawa. Kamei raised to 40k from the button, Horikawa three-bet to 100k from the big blind, and Kamei called. On the flop 4♠ Q♣ 3♦, Horikawa jammed sending Kamei to the tank. Kamei eventually folded.
