Tomoharu Furuya, new chip leader
It has been an all in fest here since the first shuffle sending two players out very fast. First was Anthony Mak railed by Tomoharu Furuya. Due to this, Furuya has now usurped the lead with well over 400k.

Out next was John Marshall. He was all in three times before getting the boot on the fourth shove. First was 10♥ 10♦ losing to Ichiyo Niwa‘s J♣ 4♣ flush on a board that ran K♣ 5♥ 8♥ 8♣ 9♣.

Down to 3k, Marshall tripled up on the next hand. He doubled up on the third shove with 7♠ 7♦ quads over K♠ 4♠ on a board of J♠ J♦ 7♥ 7♣ K♥. But the fourth sent him tumbling out with A♦ 2♣ ousted by Niwa’s 8♦ 8♥.
The bubble round was reached with short stacked Gurn Lee knocked out by Manami Hayamizu.
