It’s been quite a heated battle out there with Tae Hoon Han and chip leader Hideki Izutsu both in the hand.

The first pot saw Izutsu raise to 32k, called by Han on the button. At the flop 2 4 3, Izutsu check-called Han’s 40k bet. On the 3 turn, another check-call by Izutsu of 100k. On the river 5, Izutsu led for 300k and Han quickly folded. Han down to 425k, Izutsu up to around 1.8m.

Next hand, Izutsu raised to 32k, called by Han and Hung Sheng Lin. On the flop 9 6 2, Izutsu checked, Han bet 45k, Hung called, and back to Izutsu who also called. On the 4 turn, action was the same with Han sending out 120k, called by both Hung and Izutsu. On the 5 river, no bets came, Izutsu had J 9 top pair, and Han shipped it with Q Q when Hung mucked.

Hoshi Yuya doubles up

Hoshi Yuya doubled up through the leader Hideki Izutsu. Izutsu opened with a 32k raise, Jaepil You called, Yuya all in for just 85k, and only Izutsu called.

The board ran 10 8 5 5 K for a higher kicker to Yuya.

Three hands later, Yuya doubled up again, this time through Tamon Nakamura with 6-6 full house on the river 4-5-K-5-6. Yuya now up to 515k.

Big pot turned split kicked off with Hideki Izutsu raising to 32k, Tae Hoon Han three-bet to 80k, then down the orbit Bae Hyun Kyu moved all in with 295k. Izutsu called and Han opted to fold while saying he had jacks.

Aleksei Sei out in 11th place – ₩4,106,000

Aleksei Sei’s run has ended. Unable to bring his short stack up, he was all in with A 7 but Naoki Morita had better A K. With the board running K 2 10 Q A, Sei exited in 11th place. He earned ₩4,106,000 for his finish.

Two pots went Tae Hoon Han’s direction. On a turn board Q 7 A Q, small blind Bae Hyun Kyu bet 45k, button Han raised to 165k, and Kyu folded.

Next one, Han raised to 32k and got called by button Kei Kiyohara and small blind Hoshi Yuya. At the flop K 10 4, Han c-bet 42k and both players called. On the 8 turn, all checked for a free river look 5. Han bet 134k and won it with no callers.

Hidkei Izutsu continues to stretch his lead. This hand sent him past 2m. He opened with a 30k raise, called by button Jaepil You and big blind Tamon Nakamura.

At the flop 7 5 K, Izutsu c-bet 35k and You called. On the 3 turn, Izutsu switched up and checked, You took the opportunity to bet 60k, and Izutsu called. On the 7 river, Izutsu slid out a 190k bet sending You tanking. The clock was eventually called and You opted to fold.

Hung Sheng Lin into the million range

Hung Sheng Lin is the first player to join the leader Hideki Izutsu into the million range. Hung won a pot against Hoshi Yuya, getting called on his 95k river bet with the board showing 2 10 6 9 9. Hung had A 10, Yuya mucked.

Yosuke Otsubo falls in 12th place- ₩4,106,000

Like many at his table, Yosuke Otsubo couldn’t get one past the chip leader Hideki Izutsu to meet his end in 12th place. On a flop K 6 7, Izutsu bet 100k and Otsubo called. On the 8 turn, Izutsu checked, Otsubo moved all in for 192k, and Izutsu with the snap-call.
