Catching the action at the shipping, Aleksei Sei asked Koichi Nozaki why he called. No answer seemed to be given by Nozaki. Sei had A♦ A♠ full house that doubled up against Nozaki’s Q♥ J♠ on a board of K♠ 8♣ 8♠ 6♥ 8♥. Nozaki dropped to 11k. Two hands later, Sei took the rest of Nozaki’s chips.

When the flop felted 3♦ J♦ 8♦, Han bet 20k and Yoshimura called. On the 7♦ turn, both players checked. On the K♣ river, another 20k bet by Han, called by Yoshimura. Han opened K♦ 9♦ flush and won the sizable pot with Yoshimura mucking.
When we got to the table, Yosuke Otsubo had a 28k bet on the button seat and big blind Kevin Clark was all in for 122.5k. The board was 9♠ 8♣ 5♠. Otsubo tanked then finally called for his tournament life.

The turn J♠ and river A♠ further secured the win for Otsubo with a flush. Otsubo doubled up while Clark dropped down to 5.5k. Clark was eliminated on the next hand.
The day’s opening chip leaders, Preston Lee and Sunny Jennens seems to have been brought back down to earth. Lee is now sitting with around 135k and Jennens with just above 200k.

What a call! Action between Kevin Clark and Chen Song began with everyone folding to the button Clark. He raised to 4500 and Song defended on the big blind. At the flop A♣ Q♣ Q♠, Song bet 6k and Clark called. On the 8♠ turn, Song bet 15k and Clark called. On the 7♦ river, Song checked, Clark bet 15k, and Song tanked for some time that the clock was called. Within the 30 seconds, Song found the courage to toss in the call.

Table 4 had a bit of a shock after big stacked Keisuki Ouo showed his A♦ K♥ fold to Hung Sheng Lin‘s four-bet shove.
Catching the action on a complete board 5♣ 8♦ A♣ 7♣ A♥ and a pot of 55k in the middle, Hiroshi Nishiyama shoved his big stack sending Morihiko Ogawa tanking. Ogawa eventually tossed in the call for his tournament life and proceeded to get the boot. Ogawa’s A♠ 10♣ trips was no good against Nishiyama’s A♦ 8♠ full house.
