The cool playing Jinno Motoki came in with one of the heftier stacks of the day, sitting with nearly double the average stack. However, his opponents here at Day 2 proved to be much tougher, taking small jabs at his stack until he was given the boot by Lei Ji Chong. Motoki was all in with A-K up against Chong’s 10-10. The board bricked and that was it. chong climbed to 220k.
Another one of those all in preflop action sends a player to his end at the Main Event. Peerapong Jitwiwat three-bet all in with only 38.3K behind and initial raiser Nguyen Tran tossed in the call.

Jitwiwat A♠ K♥
Although Jitwiwat was ahead, when the flop ran Q♣ 4♣ Q♠, it was just about over with Nguyen quickly landing trips. The turn A♣ and river 5♠ sealed it and Nguyen climbed to around 170k in chips.
A huge three-way face off took place at table 6 with Kiyotumi Watanbe and Scott Janik all in on a flop of 8♥ 6♥ A♥ with the day’s entering chip leader Jeremy Graves also in the action, easily covering both of his opponents.

The turn 9♠ and river 10♣ closed the hand with Janik shipping in a big pot worth 270k while Watanabe was sent out of the running. Wataru chunked down to around 60k.
On a completed board of Q♣ 9♣ A♦ 7♠ K♦, Jeffrey Holbrook checks down a pot of around 15k sending the action to Hyatt. Getting a look at Holdbrook’s stack, Hyatt tossed in four of the yellow denomination chips worth 5k each, enough to cover Holbrook’s stack. Holbrook folded and Hyatt won the pot while showing his J♣ 8♣ bluff.
We only caught the final action of this hand with a full board of 7♣ 8♥ 9♠ 7♥ 3♥ and two players staring it down. Kitauchi Yoshihoro checked to Takashi Miyamoto who fired out 15k onto a splashy pot from previous the previous betting rounds. Yoshihoro answered with a raise that covered the rest of Miyamoto’s stack behind and Miyamoto opted to go ahead and risk it all.

We just witnessed a preflop raise war between Andy Li Xueyan and Noda Hiroyuki and as with some cases, the battle ended up with shoves for a showdown to claim the pot.

The board bricked and Xueyan’s kings stayed mighty. Hiroyuki paid a double up of 101,400 to Xueyan and he dropped to 87k.
