Dmitry Ilin opened with a 110k raise, sb Julien Tran called then bb player Macaron Tan three-bet to 350k. Ilin answered back with a four-bet to 750k, Tran bowed out, and after tanking for a couple of minutes, Tan folded.

Charalampos Lappas ran out of juice in 21st place. He went all in with A-10 only to find himself behind Lam Kim Long’s A-Q. The board ran dry. Lappas earned VND 88,883,000.

Julien Tran raised to 85k, Le Hong Nghia three-bet to 230K, then Tran with the flat-call. On the flop 4 10 7, Tran checked then called Le’s 150k bet. On the 6 turn, Tran checked, Le fired out 400k, and won it with Tran surrendering his stake on the pot.


No second title for Harry Duong, dusted by leader Dong Anh Dung

Dong Anh Dung claimed his second head for today and it was a big one. He eliminated decorated APT champion Harry Duong. The hand kicked off with Duong raising it up (?) and was called by both Sebastien Noiret and Dung.

At the flop 8 5 7, action was checked to Duong who bet 135k. Sebastien folded and Dung called. On the 6 turn, Dung shoved with his massive stack that easily covered Duong who called putting himself at risk.

Okruzhnoy Alexander railed by Julien Tran

Julien Tran delivered the next casualty with his 9-9 besting Okruzhnoy Alexander’s A-7. Alexander earned VND 76,323,000 for 23rd place.

Flo Campomanes doubles up through SJ Kim

It was a battle of the blinds situation with Flo Campomanes limping in then calling SJ Kim’s raise to 150K. At the flop 2 3 10, Campomanes passed the betting to Kim who slid out 110k. Campomanes called. On the 4 turn, action saw Campomanes check again, Kim fired out 180k, and this time Campomanes moved all in for 570k total. Kim called.

SJ Kim rails Nguyen Trung Hieu

Action folded around to cutoff SJ Kim who raised (?), was called by button Ngueyn Hoang Anh, but then a three-bet shove from bb Nguyen Trung Hieu. Kim called and Anh folded.

Po Han Huang goes up then out

Po Han Huang was the next to hit the rail. He was all in with A 3 and had to get past Le Hong Nghia with A Q. The flop 6 J 9 was dry for Huang but the 3 was gold to improve him to a pair. But it wouldn’t last, the river Q sent the lead back to Le and Huang was out in 25th place. He earned VND 76,323,000.


Dong Anh Dung ships a big one and rails Vinh Pham

Level: 24 Blinds: 20K-40K Ante: 5K

Dong Anh Dung is back to taking control. Yesterday he delivered some crazy defeats at his table and amassed a huge stack. Today, nothing has changed except he is now in Table 16 instead of Table 17.

Action began with Vinh Pham all in with 250k, Dung called from the sb seat and so did bb player Adrian Esslen. At the flop 3 K 10, Dung slid out a 450k bet and Esslen called to generate a side pot. On the K turn, Dung continued and fired out 500k. This time Esslen folded.
