Dmitry Ilin cleans out Julien Tran

Level: 26 Blinds: 30K-60K Ante: 10K

Julien Tran has just seen his last hand of the Main Event. He was all in with A-3 but ran right into Dmitry Ilin whoi had the nuts A-A. Though not needed, the board ran A-2-J-K-K for a dominating full house to Ilin. Tran earned VND 103,375,000.


Siyoung Lee eliminates Hoang Xuan Bach

Level: 26 Blinds: 30K-60K Ante: 10K

Preflop all in action with Hoang Xuan Bach needing some luck with his J-J against Siyoung Lee’s A-A. The board offered him no such love and he was out in 17th place. He earned VND 103,375,000.


Le Hong Nghia vs Julien Tran

Level: 26 Blinds: 30K-60K Ante: 10K

Le Hong Nghia raised to 170k and got called by Julien Tran defending his big blind. On the flop K Q 8, Tran checked, Le bet 175k, and Tran called. On the 3 turn and 10 river, both players checked. Tran showed 8-5 pair but was still behind Le’s pocket nines.


Dmitry Ilin pays one then busts one

Level: 26 Blinds: 30K-60K Ante: 10K

Dmitry Ilin has been one of the biggest stacks all day amassing a stack nearing 3.5M. In one bloody hand though, he lost half of it to Lam Kim Long. The hand kicked off with a raise of 130k from Lam, Ilin three-bet to 350k, and Lam called. On the flop 7 6 J, no bets came. On the 6 turn, Lam bet 450k, Ilin shoved, Lam with the quick call.

The river 2 secured the win and after the count, Ilin had to match up 1.77M. Lam now up to around 4.1M. Ilin dropped to 1.6M.

Ilin made up some of the lost chips on the next hand, eliminating Pham Van Trung with A-Q over A-9. He now up to 2M in chips. Pham earned 103,375,000 for his 18th place finish.


Loic Muller gets out of the hole

Level: 25 Blinds: 25K-50K Ante: 5K

Despite having doubled up earlier, Loic Muller still struggled with a short stack with the blinds continuing to increase. He finally reached a million in chips in a recent double up through Siyoung Lee.

The hand began with a raise by utg Tom Glamuzina to 110k, three-bet by Siyoung Lee to 260k, and Muller all in for 685k total. Initial raiser Glamuzina folded while Lee called.

The board ran low and dry and Muller shipped it. He now has 1.6M in chips.


Flo Campomanes vs Adrian Esslen

Level: 25 Blinds: 25K-50K Ante: 5K

Big stacks went head-to-head for a pot that decided who would take over the leader’s status. The hand kicked off with Flo Campomanes bumping it up to 130k and down the orbit, sb Adrian Esslen and bb Pham Van Trung called.

On the flop A 3 3, no bets came. On the 9 turn, action was checked to Campomanes who bet out 225k. Esslen called and Pham folded. On the 2 river, Esslen checked again, Campomanes bet 405k, and this time Esslen folded. Campomanes up to 4M and is looking like our chip leader at the moment with 18 players remaining.


SJ Kim falls in 19th place

Level: 25 Blinds: 25K-50K Ante: 5K

The last of the past APT champions has just fallen with SJ Kim railed by Nguyen Hoang Anh. Kim entered the final day with an above average stack but after doubling up a couple players and losing small pots in between, he moved all in on the sb seat with Q 6 and got called by bb Anh with K J.

The board ran K A 10 3 6. Kim earned VND 88,883,000 for his 19th place finish.


Tan Tai Dinh booted by Flo Campomanes

Level: 25 Blinds: 25K-50K Ante: 5K

From the utg+1 spot, Flo Campomanes raised to 100k and got called by the big blind Tan Tai Dinh. At the flop 7 3 K, Tan checked to Campomanes who continued with a 110k bet, Tan made it 250k, and Campomanes called. On the Q turn, Tan wasted no time thinking and moved all in. Campomanes snap-called.

The river J improved Tan to a pair but it still wasn’t enough to stay in the game. He was eliminated in 20th place and earned VND 88,883,000.


Loic Muller goes clubbing for a double up

Level: 25 Blinds: 25K-50K Ante: 5K

SJ Kim lost another double up situation, this time against Loic Muller. Kim raised to 110k, Muller jammed, and Kim called.

It was nearly an all club affair with the board running 9 8 3 6[9d}. Both players hit the flush but Muller had the better spread. He is now up to 810k.
