Long Lam Kim wins a huge one off Nguyen Hoang Anh

With blinds up again, pots are much meatier that we may be seeing some drop outs soon. In a hand between Long Lam Kim and Nguyen Hoang Anh a big pot was already brewing in the center and at the turn board of 3 9 5 K, Nguyen checked to Long who bet 450k. Nguyen called. On the river 4, Nguyen checked again, Long bet 850k, and won the pot with Nguyen opting to fold.


Vu Minh Tri doubled up by Flo Campomanes

Immediately after Flo Campomanes lost the previous hand, he was back in with all his chips in the middle. He was joined by Vu Minh Tri.

After a few uncalled raises and no flops, the first big pot of the Final 8 arrived and it was between Macaron Tan and Flo Campomanes. Tan raised to 260k, Campomanes three-bet to 600k, and Tan called. At the flop K 4 10, Tan checked, Campomanes continued with a 580k bet, Tan raised to 1.4M, and Campomanes with the quick fold.

Dong Anh Dung loses the gamble against Flo Campomanes

Dong Anh Dung has had a good run at the Main Event, entering Day 3 second in chips and making top 5 coming into today. However his bid for the title fell short in 10th place. With Flo Campomanes all in from the utg+1 seat, action folded all the way to the sb player Dung who tanked for a long time. The clock was finally called and as the seconds winded down, he was all in as well having less chips than Campomanes.

Vu Minh Tri wins the short stack battle; Noiret drops to 2 bbs

Short stacks Vu Minh Tri and Sebastien Noiret faced off twice with the first one resulting in a split. The next one however had a decisive winner. Tri A J and Sebastien A 9. The board ran 4 5 6 7 4. Noiret down to 260k.
