Short stacked An Nguyen found a way to double up. From the button seat, he called Ben Martin’s raise and the flop ran 7 6 9. Martin checked then called An’s 26k bet. On the 8 turn, Martin once again check-called this time the 150k all.

The river 5 sealed the win for An. He climbed to around 380k while Martin fell to 125k.


No callers for Samad Razavi

Samad Razavi is sporting a short stack and picked up few but not quite enough to reach average stack. Eugene Co initially raised to 15k, Razavi shoved with 112k, Jin Yong tanked then folded, and Co opted to fold as well. Yong showed his A-Q and Razavi returned the gesture showing K-Q.


Siyoung Lee eliminates Tomohiro Tanaka

Level: 16 Blinds: 3000-6000 Ante: 1000

Siyoung Lee climbed up to around 440k after eliminating Tomohiro Tanaka. Lee called Tanaka’s shove.

Nguyen Hoai Nam rails Abdul Rahman

Abdul Rahman tried to defend his big blind from utg player Nguyen Hoai Nam but instead was bounced out of the event. Action began with Nam raising to 12k preflop, called by Rahman. At the flop A 8 6, both players checked. On the turn, K Rahman bet 20k and was called. On the river Q, Rahman wasted no time moving al in, and stil he was called. Rahman showed K 6 two pair but Nam had better with K Q.


Noiret Sebastien takes from Van Ngoc Binh

Level: 15 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 500

Noiret Sebastien and the day’s entering chip leader Van Ngoc Binh battled for a pot that eventually saw the board complete to 3 J Q 8 2. Binh held K 3 that missed the flush but connected for a small pair. It wasn’t enough though to take the pot with Sebastien holding A J higher pair. Binh fell to around 600k while Sebastien at around 530k.


Nguyen Hoang Anh climbs to 500K

Nguyen Hoang Anh had K Q and was against a player with J-J. Anh landed the nut flush with three clubs and the ace appearing on the board. He is now up to 500K.


Nguyen Quoc Cuay takes two

Nguyen Quoc Cuay picked up a couple of nice pots with a double up through Czardy Rivera on the first one. Cuay moved all in with 60k, Rivera three-bet to 125k, and after everyone folded around the felt,it was heads up action.

Feng Zhao knocks out Tran Son Thach

Feng Zhao shipped in all of Tran Son Thach’s chips with his 6 6 staying ahead of Thach’s A J that failed to connect on the board.


A good feeling for Shyh Chyn Lim

Sometimes players have this instinctual feeling they will win the pot. One such player was Shyh Chyn Lim who moved all in with 2 2 and was called by Nguyen Dur Minh Tran with J J. Before the flop dropped, Lim expressed, “I have a good feeling about this hand”. Then the flop came A 2 8 immediately improving him to a set. The turn 3 and river K kept him ahead and he doubled up.
