A decorated APT champion, Lim Yo Hwan aka Boxer, got involved in a couple of hands that didn’t give him any returns. The first hand saw him raise to 1800, called by three players. At the flop 4♦ 5♠ 10♠, all checked. On the 8♥ turn, Lim Koon Ting Daniel bet 4500, two players folded, one of them was Boxer. Daniel was called by Tai Hoang . The river 2♦ was checked by both and Hoang won with 7♣ 8♠ pair over Daniel’s J♠ 9♦ that missed.
Following that hand, Dinh Tan Tai raised to 1800, cutoff Boxer three-bet to 5100, Tai called. On the flop 2♥ 4♠ 7♣, Tai checked, Boxer fired 4300, Tai raised to 9300, Boxer folded.
