Action folded to the blinds, Kelvin Beattie shoved with 10 10 but beside him the big stacked big blind Hsiao Yun Yang woke up with Q Q. No hits for Beattie on the board K 6 9 J 2 to fall in 9th place. He missed the official final table by one spot. He earned NT$ 222,700 for his 9th place finish.


Hwang Sang Yeon claims another pot, Shimizu drops to 920k

Level: 25 Blinds: 12K-24K Ante: 24K

Action folded to the blinds, sb Hwang Sang Yeon limped, bb Takao Shimizu checked. The board ran out 8 3 6 10 7, Hwang triple-barreled 40k, 60k, and 210k, Shimizu called. Hwang had 2 3 flush, Shimizu mucked and is down to 920k. Hwang up to 2.025M.


Hwang Sang Yeon takes from the leader Zhou

From utg+1, Hwang Sang Yeon raised to 50k, sb chip leader Zhou Yueyang called, the flop ran 9 J[qc}. Hwang c-bet 50k, Zhou check-called. At the turn K, Hwang fired 180k, Zhou check-folded.


Lau King Lun Alan jams on Beattie

Cutoff Kelvin Beattie raised to 50k, Lau King Lun Alan defended his big blind. At the flop 2 2 9, Lau checked, Beattie c-bet 38k, Lau shoved (238k), Beattie folded.

After Chia Yun Wu’s failed bluff, he lost the rest of it on the next hand. Hwang Sang Yeon raised to 40k, Chia jammed, Takao Shimizu called, Hwang jammed and Shimizu called.

The board ran 2 K 10 3 for a flush draw to Chia but he was denied on the river 9. He took 10th for NT$ 185,600. Shimizu shipped it and won huge side pot. He is now at 1.326m. Hwang dropped to 1.6m.


Hwang Sang Yeong exposes Chia Yun Wu’s bluff

On a board 5 8 7 2, Chia Yun Wu and Hwang Sang Yeon checked it and the river was dealt 6. Bb Chia slid out a tower of blue amounting to 100k, Hwang slid one for the call. Chia showed J 10 jack high bluff, Hwang won it with A 10 higher kicker.


Michal Polchlopek out in 11th place for NT$ 154,700

Level: 23 Blinds: 8K-16K Ante: 16K

Michal Polchlopek was eliminated by Zhou Yueyang. Zhou called Polchlopek’s shove on a flop 6 10 10. Polchlopek drawing 5 7, Zhou 6 8 two pair. The turn 2 and river 9 ended Polchlopek in 11th place. He earned NT$ 154,700 for his efforts.

Zhou now at 1.66M.
