From utg, Takao Shimizu raised to 33k, button Hwang Sang Yeon three-bet to 85k, Shimizu called. On the flop K 2 4, Shimizu check-called a 70k bet. On the turn A, Shimizu jammed (353k), Hwang folded.


Hsiao Yun Yang snaps off Lee’s bluff

Level: 23 Blinds: 8K-16K Ante: 16K

Cutoff Hsiao Yun Yang raised to 33k bb Luke Lee called. On the flop 10 A 2, Lee checked, Hsiao c-bet 30k, Lee raised to 90k,  Hsiao called. On the turn 6, Lee fired 160k, Hsiao called. Then with the river 10, Lee fired a huge 330k bet, Hsiao snap-called. Lee showed the bluff 4 5, Hsiao claimed it with A Q. Hsiao now at 1.515m and is the chip leader. Lee down to 560k.


Hsu Piying takes some off Beattie

Button Kelvin Beattie raised to 35k, bb Hsu Piying three-bet to 117k, Beattie called. At the flop 4 Q 8, Hsu c-bet 90k, Beattie folded.


Hsu Piying doubles up to around 460k

Level: 22 Blinds: 6K-12K Ante: 12K

Hsu Piying has been behind the leaders all day but just landed a double up through Lau King Lun Alan to help him climb. It was all in preflop, Hsu A J, Lau A 9, the board threw blanks then a jack on the river to ensure the win for the dominant hand.


Lo Wai Nok out in 12th place for NT$ 154,700

Lo Wai Nok was next to drop out of the final two tables. He pushed with K 9 and got called by Takao Shimizu with K 10. The board ran out 10 7 2 A A. Nok earned the next pay jump of NT$ 154,700.

Chin Te Lai railed in 13th place – NT$ 128,900

Action folded to the small blind Chin Te Lai who raised, bb Kelvin Beattie three-bet, Chin four-bet jammed, Beattie called. Chin A, Beattie A J, the board ran J K 2 6 8. Chin out in 13th place for NT$ 128,900.


Park Ju Yuk out in 14th place – NT$ 128,900

Level: 22 Blinds: 6K-12K Ante: 12K

With big stacks all around him, Park Ju Yuk hoped for a good hand to double up. When he looked down at A 9, he three-bet all in. Big blind Luke Lee repopped it to push out initial raiser Lo Wai Nok. Lee had pocket jacks. The board ran clean. Park eliminated 14th place for NT$ 128,900.

Lok Gino struggled with a short stack for a majority of the final two tables. He finally put it all in and met his end at the hands of Lau King Lun Alan. It was Q K missing the board to fall to Lau’s 7 7. Lok Gino earned NT$ 107,400 for his 15th place finish.
