A huge pot was already weighing down the middle of around 100k or more. The flop was 5♣ K♥ 2♥, utg Luke Lee check called a 100k bet by Hsiao Yun Yang. On the turn 8♣ no bets followed however on the river 2♦, Lee sent out 260k and wont the pot with Hsiao folding. Lee is at 860k.
Another short stack tumbled. Naohito Tamaya went all in with A♥ J♦ and Kelvin Beattie called with 2♥ 2♣. When the flop ran A♣ 5♥ 9♣ Tamaya jumped ahead and even further on the turn J♣ for two pair but the river 2♠ crushed his hopes at a double up. Beattie had a set to send Tamaya out in 17th place for NT$ 107,400.

Hsiao Yun Yang has been quietly chipping up since the start of the day. At the break he built up around 655k which is well over avergae. We finally caught him pick up two pots, The first saw a raised pot and a flop 2♣ 2♦ 5♠. From utg, Hsiao bet 25k, hijack Chin Te Lai called. On the turn 7♣ no bets and the river was 7♥. Hsiao bet 100k, Chin folded.
Next hand, saw a raised pot again and Hsiao and Park Ju Yuk checking the flop J♠ K♥ 8♣. On the turn 8♥, Park bet 30k, got raised by Hsiao to 75k, Park folded.
Takao Shimizu won a couple of pots to bring his stack from 425k to 635k. The first saw him raise to 23k, Lo Wai Nok three-bet to 60k, Shimizu answered with a four-bet to 150k. Nok folded.
Next winning hand saw the board complete 7♥ 8♥ 10♥ 2♦ 9♦ with around 200k in the pot. Shimizu showed 4♥ 4♣, Lee mucked.
