On a raised pot preflop and the board showing 9♦ 2♥ 5♦, big blind decorated APT major champion John Tech checked, Madhav Gupta bet 4500, Luen Hei Kwok called. back to Tech with the call. On the 7♦ turn, all checked. on the 9♠ river, Tech led for 11.5k and found no takers.
One of the decorated Championships Event player in the field is Vietnam’s own Cao Ngoc Anh. We just saw him win a couple of pots. His first one was up against the day’s entering chip leader, Eunho Kwon. On a flop 3♣ 6♣ 8♦ with a raised pot brewed prior, Anh checked, Kwon bet 5k, Anh raised to 18k, and a fold from Kwon. The next one was a an three-bet from 3500 to 11.5 that also got a fold.
