Since the tables collapsed to two, Michael Soyza has not had the same fortune and his stack has fallen below the average range. However he did pick up a recent pot against Kunal Patni just before the break to climb back up to average with 340k.
The hand began with Soyza raising to 18k on the button and Patni defending on the big blind. At the flop 4♦ K♦ 8♦, Patni checked to Soyza who slid out 15k. Patni called. On the 3♦ turn, action was the same with Patni check-calling a 20k bet. Then on the J♣ river, another 60k was fired by Soyza and Patni called. Soyza opened Q♦ J♠ for a flush. He shipped it with Patni mucking. Patni down to 164k.
