Day 1B’s chip leader, Kalyan Chakravarathy is on a roll! He is the biggest stack at his table and got even bigger after winning three consecutive pots. We caught the first winning hand as it was being shipped to Chakravarathy with no callers on his flop bet.
The next hand, NIshant Sharma raised to 1400 in late position, Chakravarathy three-bet to 3600, and unlike yesterday’s face-off, Sharma decided to fold this hand instead.
The largest pot Chakravarathy came on the subsequent hand against Yue Feng Pan. The leader raised to 1500 and Pan defended on the big blind. At the flop A♣ 5♥ 4♦ and turn J♠, Pan check-called bets 1500 and 2700 respectively. On the 4♣ river, Pan checked again, Chakravarathy slid out a bet more than enough to put Pan all in. After a few minutes in the tank, Pan folded leaving himself a short 11.2K behind.
Chkravarathy now nearing 115K.
