After getting involved in two pots that didn’t bring him added ammo, Michael Tran moved all in with K♠ J♣ and ran right into Sparrow Cheung’s A♥ A♠. The board dragged out Q♠ 5♥ 2♥ 8♦ 9♦, and that was it for Tran.
Tran entered the Final 8 as the shortest stacked and impressively laddered up all the way to 3rd place. He earned HKD 235,700 for his deep run.
