John Tech calls to his demise; Siyoung Lee ships it

John Tech and Siyoung Lee stared down a flop 4 6 9 with around 22k in the middle. Tech checked, Lee bet 16k, Tech called. On the 4 turn, both players checked it. Then on the 4 river, Tech led for 10.5k, Lee moved all in (covering Tech’s stack), sending Tech to the tank. Tech eventually called and exited the field when he saw Lee’s J J full house.


Oyama Masaharu vs Fu Bang Huang

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Oyama Masaharu and Fu Bang Huang went at it on two separate pots. The first one saw Oyama double up with his A-Q. The second encounter, Huang took it on a turn bet with the board showing Q J 10 9.


Yun Bong rails Yanda Soh and climbs way up the chip ladder

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Yun Bong is now sitting with 360k and is running 3rd in chips. He eliminated Yanday Thyronne Soh one of the more aggressive players at the felt. Soh had K-Q while Yun had A-A.


Hideaki Ohashi tanks Kunal Patni

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Action folded around the table to button, Chua Shan Hi who raised to 7k. Sb Kunal Patni three-bet to 21.5k, then bb Hideaki Ohashi four-bet to 43k. Chua folded while Patni tanked for a very long time. He finally folded.


Marc Rivera wins a small one

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

After losing two consecutive pots, Marc Rivera finally took down the third one. Linh Tran raised to 7k and Rivera called on the big blind. At the flop 9 7 5, it was checked by both.On the A turn, Rivera bet 5k and Tran folded.


Mchael Soyza’s third bullet still no good

Christopher Michael Soyza was on his third bullet and it still didn’t produce much depth. He was all in with A 8 and joining him in the race was Joachim Chia with J J. The board ran very low, 7 5 6 7 2 to eliminate Soyza.


Seongsu Kong scooping up pots… climbs to nearly 400k

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 5000

Seongsu Kong is racing up the chip rank with a couple of good pots earned. He won a big pot against Shinichi Takenouchi then followed it right up with a pot from Chua Shan Hui. By the looks of Kong’s stack, he may be pushing into the 400k range.


Henrik Tollefsen wins a couple

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

We haven’t reported any hands from Henrik Tollefsen but the APT champion is no doubt in the game. He just won two pots back to back. The first one saw a raised pot preflop and a flop K 7[9s}. Yanda Thyronne Soh checked, Tollefsen bet 15k, and Soh called. On the K turn, action was checked again to Tollefsen and he fired out 26k. This was enough to win it with Soh folding up.

Next pot Marc Rivera raised to 7k, Tollefsen three-bet to 20k, and that induced a fold to win another.
