In a previous story, Edward Dam shared to us how the queens have practically saved him in crucial hands in this tournament.

So it was only apt that he fell with queens in his final hand of this main event.

Haresh Kekreja opened to 20,000 preflop and Dam responded with a shove with well over 100,000.

Kekreja had a legit hand though and made the call. Dam tabled Q♣ Q♥ and was the underdog against Kekreja’s K♣ K♠.

And like his main event story the entire week, Dam was ecstatic when he saw another lady when the dealer flopped J♣ 10♣ Q♠.

However, the turn K♦ had other plans for Dam… River 7♣ blanked and Dam is eliminated. Dam receives PHP 104,000 for his main event effort.
