When we interviewed American Josh Stefansky last night after his High Rollers win, he told us he was going to spend his high-stakes winnings by partying the night away.
Guess, parties work for main events too.
In one hand, Stefansky opened the action to 1,100 but saw Ian Marcos, from the hi-jack re-raise it to 3,100. The player from the big blind made the call but Stefansky had an even better idea by moving all-in.
Marcos got out of the way but the BB made the call.
Stefansky: A♣ K♦
BB Player: Q♠ Q♦
Flop 6♦ A♣ 3♣ gave the lead to Stefansky and the turn 8♦ and river 10♠ wasn’t the lady the BB player was looking for.
Stefansky has now over 70,000 in chips.
