Hanna Khalife and Kai Paulsen limped into the pot but saw Paawan Bansal raise it to 14,500. Khalife flat-called while Paulsen re-popped it to 38,500 total. Bansal called and Khalife folded.
Flop Q♦ 8♠ Q♥ was checked by both but Bansal bet 30,000 on the turn 9♣. Paulsen folded.
Grigorii Kavin shoved his final 59,000 facing a preflop raise of 9,000 from Weiyi Zhang.
Zhang: 3♣ 3♠
Kavin: K♠ Q♦
Board is dealt J♣ 9♣ 3♦ giving Zhang the set but new (straight) outs for Kavin. That’s not completed on the turn 4♣ and river 8♥ and the Russian is out of the main event.
Big board states we have 39 players left, which means we’re two eliminations away from identifying the bubble boy in this main event!
Preflop all in between two premium hands:
Lester Edoc (77,500): A♥ A♣
Yao Hui: J♦ J♣
Hui, who entered Day 3 as the chip leader, can’t find help on the board 6♦ Q♥ 10♥ 8♣ 4♦ and Edoc climbs to around 160,000.
Yao Hui 和菲律宾选手Lester Edoc都选择在翻牌前All In
Lester Edoc (77,500): A♥ A♣
Yao Hui: J♦ J♣ 公共牌: 6♦ Q♥ 10♥ 8♣ 4♦
Lester Edoc此役过后将筹码翻番至近160,000
A few hands after getting crippled to around four big blinds left, Kenneth Khoo has doubled-up.
Joshua Tan opened to 8,500 and Khoo shoved his final 19,500. Tan called.
Tan: A♣ 6♥
Khoo: K♠ Q♥
Trailing, Khoo immediately grabbed the lead on the flop 4♥ 2♦ K♦ and never relinquished it on the turn 4♠ and river 9♠.
Khoo doubles-up to about 40,000.
Roger Spets opened to 9,000 preflop but saw Kenneth Khoo jam. Spets called for his final 79,000.
Khoo: K♥ 10♥
Spets: 9♦ 9♥
Right on the flop 7♠ 5♠ 9♣, Spets can already taste the sweet smell of a double-up. The turn 7♣ assured he’ll get this tasty pot and the insignificant river Q♣ officially put him at about 165,000. Khoo drops to below 20,000.
Edward Saab is out of this main event after shoving with K♦ J♦ and getting called by Herbert Baum, who had A♠ Q♣.
Baum has now over 330,000.
Cho Youngwoo shoved with A♠ 2♠ for his final 32,000 or so and got a caller in Daniil Khvan, who had K♣ Q♦ and started the day with well over 100,000.
Flop: 6♠ J♠ J♣
Turn: 10♠
River: 9♣
No hit for Khvan which means a Youngwoo double up to around 70,000.
With over 110,000 already in the middle and a board 10♥ 5♠ 9♥ Q♥, Thomas Ward shoved his final 90,000 or so. Edoc thought for a looong time before making the lay down and giving up on the large pot.
This is crucial right here as we near the ITM bubble; Ward climbs to over 200,000 while Edoc drops to below 85,000.
