Major help needed for Blouin and the flop 10 4 9 cooperated for at least a chop in this one. Turn 7 arrived and he needs a high card to survive in this main event. However, it was a low 3 river and Blouin is busted out.


Supnet Outplays Enriquez

Jessie Supnet bet 2,050 and got called by Kim Enriquez.

Supnet fires 3,025 and this time Enriquez raised plus 4,525 more. Not to be outdone, Supnet re-raised to another 6,425. A frustrated Enriquez can’t commit and folded his hand.

On the flop A 9 2 and a huge 25,000 pot, Jake Chen shoved about the pot-size and put Victor Chong deeeep into the tank. So deep, Chong timed out when he was called for time.


Montebon Bullies Short Stack Kurashani

Trifie Montebon opened for 4,000 and got re-raised by Kenji Kurashani to 10,000. Montebon put the Japanese on the spot by moving all-in and got to force the fold from Kurashani. Montebon nears 50K in chips.


Gonzales Scares Off Bansal on the River

Level: 9 Blinds: 300-600 Ante: 75

19,000 pot and the board 10 Q K 9 7, Filipino Martin Gonzales Raghan Bansal of India. The Indian pro thought for a bit before making the laydown. Gonzales started the day with about 44,000 and now has over 54,000 after this hand.


Stelouives Spikes Set, Doubles Up

Kota Nakano opened to 1,600 and got re-raised by Andrew Nguyen to 3,700. Tomas Stelouives wanted more and three-bet to 8,500. Nakano shoved back, Nguyen folded and Stelouives called.

Right on the flop J 2 2 Stelouives spiked the set and the turn 8 and river K officially gave him his  double-up to around 75,000. Nakano dropped to danger levels, below 5,000.


Tech’s Ladies Escorts Bian to Exit

Sean Bian opened to 1,500 preflop and got re-popped by John Tech to 4,700. Bian responded with a three-bet to 14,100. Four-bet shove from Tech as a replay and we have a huge showdown:

Chung Surviving

Short-stacked Ranmi Chung decided it was time to double-up or go home with K J. He got a caller in Ed Marcelo when he shoved and the Filipino trailed bigtime with K 10.

No bad beat on this one as dealer boarded 7 6 2 4 A and Chung doubles-up to about 10,000.


Cool Call from Khoo

Board read 9 3 3 2 8 and Lester Edoc took a stab at the pot firing 5,500. Kenneth Khoo eyeballed him and made the call. Edoc mucked his hand and Khoo won the pot with a good call.
