Edison Marzan, with about four big blinds left, shoved for 3,500 and got re-popped to 7,000 by Trifie Montebon, who obviously wanted to isolate the short stack.
Everyone folded and Marzan shows 5♣ 5♠ while Montebon had A♣ K♦. Flop 4♥ 6♣ 2♣ turn Q♥ and river 10♠ and Marzan dodges the ace/king.
Pot was at roughly 7,000, flop was K♣ 9♦ J♠ and Jae Chang check-raised Tommy Kim’s 5,000 to 12,000. Quick fold from Kim to give the pot to his compatriot.
Short-stacked Neil Arce has just doubled-up with A♥ J♠ off a showdown against Gerald Casey’s K♥ 10♥
A bit of sweat for Arce when the A♠ 3♠ Q♦ flop gave Casey new outs but the turn 3♣ and river 3♦ provided no trouble for the Filipino. Arce doubles to around 19,500.

Cuong Nguyen opened to 900 and got raised by Hanna Khalife for 4,100. Jimmy Yar wanted this one and shoved 17,100. Both players tanked a bit before foldin their hands.
