Zhang Weiyi had to settle for a chopped pot, thanks to the river.

Board read 6 3 6 A 6 and Weiyi bet 4,550. The mid-position player tried to steal it raising to 23,000 total. Weiyi tanked but called and was shown the opponent’s A 9. Weiyi heaves a sigh of relief showing A 8.

Charles’ Cookie Jar

Charles Lesmana has caught an opponent with his hands in the cookie jar.

On a turned board 9 10 9 3 and about 6,000 in the pot, Lesmana bet 3,500 and got called by the player from the cut-off. On the river K the cut-off player bet a a bigger 7,000!

Lesmana tanked for a bit but made the call. The player immediately mucked his hand.


Kings vs. Kings

Jim Bonanno opened the betting preflop with 500 and got re-raised by Edward Saab. Bonanno three-bet to 4,975 and Saab four-bet shoved.

Iwakura’s Big Chick Spikes Ace on Turn

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

Hajime Iwakura’s A Q beat an opponent’s pocket fives in an all-in preflop situation. Flop 9 9 3 was good for the opponent but the ace appeared on the turn A. No five on the river K and Iwakure eliminates his opponent.


Soriano Recovers with Triple Up

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

A hand after getting crippled with pocket tens, Ryan Soriano was looking to get back on track with the Big Slick. He shoved his final 2,675 and got two callers. Dealer boards 6 2 K K 5 and Soriano gets the much-needed triple-up– just about half the starting stack for Day 1.


Ken Garcia Doubles Up

Level: 4 Blinds: 100-200 Ante:

Ken Garcia shoved with A 6 preflop with his final 9,000 or so. He got a call from Ryan Soriano, who had 10 10.

River: 3

Garcia avoids any trouble and he moves up to about 19,000.


Gonzaga’s Set

Terry Gonzaga opened to 350 preflop and got a call from the mid-position player. The player from the button wanted more and made it 950, which was called by both.

Flop: 4 6 K

All three checked to bring the turn 5 and checks all over once again. On the river 2, Gonzaga bets 1,500 got a call from the MP player and fold from the button. Gonzaga shows 6 6 for a flopped set and the MP player mucked his hand.


3-Way, 3 Pockets

Three-way all-in between Hieu Le, Ernest Tan and another player:

Board ran out 7 A 3 3 8 and Tan Le splits for the pot. Le has around 40,000 while Le has 15,000.


Kit Outplays Supnet Again (KIT再次成功逼退Supnet!)

Its Kwan Kit Kwok vs. Jessie Supnet Round 2:

On the flop 7 Q 8, Supnet check-called Kit’s 1,250 bet. Both players checked the turn A and on the river 9 Supnet check-folded on Kit’s bigger 3,400 bet. Kit has now won over Supnet twice the last few hands in this level.
