An early position player opened to 4,000 preflop and saw Jojo Allado make it 12,000 total. Not to be outdone, Gerald Casey tripled it for an all-in worth 36,000. The original raiser folded while Allado made the call.

Casey needed help and the flop J 8 7 provided new outs. It wasn’t the turn 6 nor the river 9 and he busts out of the main event. Allado now has around 115,000.


Garcia Takes Small Hit (Yao Hui再下一城!)

On a raised pot amounting to 25,000 and a flop 4 3 9, Yao Hui bet 20,000 and Ken Garcia called. Hui stepped on the breaks on the turn 3 and river J as both players checked Garcia mucked his hand and Hui won the pot to climb over 225,000. Garcia dropped to 240,000.

Yah Loon opened the preflop action at 4,000. Kunal Patni called but the player from the small blind made it 11,000. Loon and Patni called to bring the flop J 3 2.

The queen’s better half K arrived on the river, which means Gupta is now out of the main event. Garcia climbs the ranks and now has over 200,000.

After a series of raise and re-raises preflop– that ended with a Noel Araniel call to a Kosei Ichinose six-bet shove!– we’re in a for huge showdown between the two.

When the dealer flopped 10 2 4 the table erupted as Ichinose immediately grabbed the lead! However, the turn 2 put some order back and the river A confirmed Ichinose’s bust out from this main event while Araniel continues his good run.
