On the river 3 Le led out with a bigger 125,000. Javalera tank-called.

Yah Loon opened to 30,000 preflop and saw Edwin Marzan move all-in for 159,000. Jun Javalera flat-called while Herbert Baum shoved! (+249,000 more).

Loon quickly got away from his hand and action went back to Javalera, who spent some time in the tank before making the decision… Time was called and Javalera eventually folded but showed his pocket jacks!

On the flop Q 4 9, Baum hit his set of ladies and the turn K and river 6 confirmed Marzan’s bust out. The Filipino’s good main event run is over as he exits in 11th place for PHP 258,700.


Baum Stays Alive

Herbert Baum doubled up thanks to a lucky jack on the river.

All-in for about 145,000,Baum had J Q and was up against Paawan Bansal, who had the lead preflop with A 5.

And river J saves Baum in this one. The German upped his stack to over 300,000 while Bansal dropped to roughly 175,000.

Kim Past 1M Mark, Scalps Do Kwuen Kim (13th Place – PHP 205,400)

HUGE pot on a board of 2 10 10 5 3 and Do Kwuen Kim shoved on the river. SJ Kim made the quick call showing J 10 beating Kwuen Kim’s 8 8, who exits in 13th place for PHP 205,400.

SJ Kim get past the 1 million chip mark after this big win.
