Jose Drilon opened to 1,700 preflop and got re-raised by Stephane Blouin for his final 11,800. Drilon called to put his opponent at risk.
Drilon: A♣ 6♥
Blouin: A♠ 2♠
Major help needed for Blouin and the flop 10♣ 4♥ 9♣ cooperated for at least a chop in this one. Turn 7♠ arrived and he needs a high card to survive in this main event. However, it was a low 3♦ river and Blouin is busted out.
Flop: 5♠ 10♣ 6♦
Jessie Supnet bet 2,050 and got called by Kim Enriquez.
Turn: A♥
Supnet fires 3,025 and this time Enriquez raised plus 4,525 more. Not to be outdone, Supnet re-raised to another 6,425. A frustrated Enriquez can’t commit and folded his hand.
On the flop A♦ 9♠ 2♦ and a huge 25,000 pot, Jake Chen shoved about the pot-size and put Victor Chong deeeep into the tank. So deep, Chong timed out when he was called for time.
On the flop 4♠ 4♣ 2♦
Trifie Montebon opened for 4,000 and got re-raised by Kenji Kurashani to 10,000. Montebon put the Japanese on the spot by moving all-in and got to force the fold from Kurashani. Montebon nears 50K in chips.
19,000 pot and the board 10♣ Q♠ K♣ 9♦ 7♦, Filipino Martin Gonzales Raghan Bansal of India. The Indian pro thought for a bit before making the laydown. Gonzales started the day with about 44,000 and now has over 54,000 after this hand.
Kota Nakano opened to 1,600 and got re-raised by Andrew Nguyen to 3,700. Tomas Stelouives wanted more and three-bet to 8,500. Nakano shoved back, Nguyen folded and Stelouives called.
Nakano: A♦ A♠
Stelouives: J♦ J♣
Right on the flop J♠ 2♦ 2♥ Stelouives spiked the set and the turn 8♥ and river K♠ officially gave him his double-up to around 75,000. Nakano dropped to danger levels, below 5,000.
Sean Bian opened to 1,500 preflop and got re-popped by John Tech to 4,700. Bian responded with a three-bet to 14,100. Four-bet shove from Tech as a replay and we have a huge showdown:
Tech: Q♦ Q♥
Bian: A♠ K♠
Dealer boards J♥ 10♥ 10♣ 9♣ J♦ and Bian is out of the main event.
Short-stacked Ranmi Chung decided it was time to double-up or go home with K♣ J♦. He got a caller in Ed Marcelo when he shoved and the Filipino trailed bigtime with K♠ 10♣.
No bad beat on this one as dealer boarded 7♥ 6♥ 2♥ 4♣ A♣ and Chung doubles-up to about 10,000.
Board read 9♣ 3♦ 3♣ 2♦ 8♠ and Lester Edoc took a stab at the pot firing 5,500. Kenneth Khoo eyeballed him and made the call. Edoc mucked his hand and Khoo won the pot with a good call.
