Preflop, A UTG player opened to 700 and got re-raised by Raghav Bansal to 1,850. The original raiser responded by moving all-in (15,000), which Bansal called.

Dealer flopped Q 6 K and Bansal spikes the set; trouble hand for Bansal on the turn A but the river 4 assured the bustout.


Big Slick No Good For Spetz

Level: 6 Blinds: 150-300 Ante: 25

Dealer already turned 6 7 K 9 when Roger Spetz check-called an opponent’s 1,350 bet. On the river, Spetz checked again and saw the opponent bet 5,000.

Short-stacked Euryd Rivera shoved his final 3,900 or so and got two callers.

Joshua Chiew Maximizes Boat

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

With a nice size pot of 8,000 and the entire board 8 4 A 9 8 already in the middle, Joshua Chiew added another 7,100 to send his opponent from the middle position to the tank… Chiew’s opponent finally made the call and was shown the bad news: Chiew had 8 9 for the fullhouse!

Chiew has now over 40,000


Toma’s Seven-Deuce Cripples Cheng

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

Already a brewing pot of 6,000 and a board of 2 7 2 4, Tsugunari Toma check-raised Kelvin Cheng’s 3,200 bet to 7,000. Cheng responded with a shove and Toma snap-called!

River 10 can’t save Cheng’s Jacks and Toma’s seven-deuce held! Toma upped his stack to over 33,000 while Cheng is seriously crippled with just 1,000.


Xu Catches Bluffer (Raymond Xu成功判定对手的唬人把戏!)

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

Raymond Xu bet 550 preflop and had three callers and the dealer boarded 8 2 6. Xu C-bets to 1,400 and one player got out of the way while two others called. The turn 8 was checked by all three players and on the river A, the cut-off player took the first stab at the pot with a 3,000 bet… Xu tanked for a bit but made the call.

CO players shows air Q 5 and Xu table 7 6 for the low pair– enough to take down the pot.

Ogino Spikes Set on River, Ousts Lubas, Downs Bian

Level: 5 Blinds: 100-200 Ante: 25

A player from middle position opened to 600 preflop and got re-raised to 1,750 by Jay Lubas. Sean Bian wanted more and three-bet to 5,100. Makoto Ogino also wanted to join the huge pot party and even added more: shoving for 13,525!

The original raiser got out of the way while Lubas and Bian called.

Lubas was primed for a triple up when the flop 4 J 10 landed, the turn 7 arrived and still no sort of trouble for Lubas. However, the river Q appeared giving  Ogino is two-outer over the Kings and Aces and now has over 33,000! Lubas is eliminated from Day 1C and Bian is down to about 10,000.

John Prevedoros had Q 9 on a flop of Q 7 3 and faced a bet from a big blind player. Prevedoros avoided any trouble on the turn A and river 8 and brings down this pot.
