Cheng Hitting Everything

Level: 2 Blinds: 50-100 Ante:

It looks like Cheng Cw is hitting everything at this point of Day 1B.

On a board of 9 2 8 K 9 and a pot of over 4,000, Christopher Mateo bet 1,100 and got a call from Tetsuya Tsuchikawa. Cheng Cw wanted more and made it 6,100 total. Mateo folded and Tet called.

Cheng Cw tables 9 8 for the rivered boat and Tet mucked his hand.


Cheng’s Seven-Deuce

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

On a board of 4 7 7 8 K and a raised pot to around 2,400, Cheng C. bet 4,000 and got a call from his heads-up opponent. Cheng quickly shows the 7 2 for the trips and the opponent mucked his hand.


Simba’s Turn Bet Scares Lim

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

From under the gun, a player opened to 150 and got a call from Simba as well as the the player from the hi-jack and Daniel Lim.

Flop: Q 6 3

Lim, UTG and Simba all checked and saw the hi-jack player bet 1,500. Lim re-popped to 4,000, Simba called and the UTG and HJ player folded.

On the turn 6, Lim check-folded to Simba’s 4,000 bet and gave up the pot to the Korean.


Erzincanli Set of A’s Too Good vs. Falcon

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

Linh Tran opened to 150 preflop and saw Mustafa Erzincanli beside him re-pop to 1,625. From across the table, Michael Falcon flatted and then Tran folded.

Flop: 9 A 8

Mustafa fired a big 4,200 and Falcon just called.

Turn: 5

Mustafa means serious business this time and fired all of his final 15,000 and Falcon, who covered Mustafa, made the call.

A bad one for Falcon, who had A 2, as Mustafa showed A A and the Falcon was drawing dead.


Thanks to Quads, El-Said Starts Recovery

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

With the rare flop of 8 8 8 on the board and a big pot of 5,000, Ayman El-Said shoved his final 2,200 and got two callers.

El-Said quickly shows them the bad news and the unbeatable 8 5 beating another player’s A Q and Tran’s mucked hands.

El-Said recovers from a short stack and jumps to about a dozen thousand in chips.


Suzuki’s 2 Pairs

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

Dealer flopped 7 9 A on a check-raised pot and Norihito Suzuki bet 2,700 from the small blind. The mid-position player made a quick call while the hi-jack player got out of the way.

Both Suzuki and the MP player checked the turn 6 and on the river Q, Suzuki fired 3,000. The opponent tanked a bit before making the call. Suzuki shows 9 7 for the flopped two pair and enough to take down the pot.


Falcon Takes Flight Early

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

With the community already showing 10 J 9 7, a player from mid-position bet 1,250 and got called by two players including Michael Falcon.

The river 5 landed and both Falcon’s opponents checked. Falcon wanted more and fired 2,600– the early position player folded while the MP player called.

Falcon shows K Q for the straight and he takes down the nice pot.


Lim Takes a Few

Level: 1 Blinds: 25-50 Ante:

Facing 3 limpers, the button player raised to 525 preflop but saw Daniel Lim from the small blind make it 1,625. Limpers got out of the way and the button player called.

Both players checked the flop K 7 3 and turn 4 and on the river J, Lim fired 3,500– enough to scare off his opponent.
