On a board of 7♠ J♥ K♠ A♠, Amit Ajwani check-called SJ Kim’s 1,700 bet. Ajwani did the same on the river 3♣ with Kim betting 3,300.
Ajwani was shown the bad news: Kim’s A♣ 10♠ and he had no choice but to muck his hand. Kim climbs to over 45,000.
Marc Rivera opened to 1,000 pre-flop and saw a short-stacked player with 3,650 move all-in. The big blind flatted and the Rivera called as well.
Both Rivera and the BB checked the flop A♥ 3♦ 2♥ and turn 6♥ but Rivera added 2,000 more on the river A♦ and the BB player got out of the way.

Before dinner break, Anthony Gabitan got crippled when his Big Slick fell to Cowboys. He did quadruple up to around 10 big blinds but got eliminated in the first few minutes after dinner.
Gabitan had A♦ K♥ again and was all-in against Jeonghan Lee who had K♠ 8♠ on a turned board of Q♦ 8♣ 4♥ K♣. Gabitan found savior on the river 4♠ and he’s out of the main event. Lee has now well over 65,000.
About 6,000 in the pot with the the dealer already turning 7♥ 7♦ A♥ K♠, Thomas Ward opened to 4,200 and saw the player from the button and Edwin Marzan call.
River 9♦ arrived and was checked by both Marzan and Ward. The button player shoved, Marzan, who was covered, called and Ward folded.

Marzan wins the big pot and doubles up to about 50,000.
In a raised pot preflop, both Ruth Graham and Charles Lesmana checked the flop J♣ 7♥ 4♠ to bring the turn A♠.
Ruth took a stab with 3,000 to put Lesmana virtually all-in. Lesmana called and put his tournament life at risk.

Ms. Ruth was ahead but needed to avoid an ace on the river. Lesmana, who actually gave up already– standing up and picking up his things– when the A♣ landed!
Lesmana survives and doubles up to around 14,000.

Three-way action on a raised pot in a flop of 4♣ 10♦ K♥, Yoichi Fujiya bet 1,200 but saw the button player make it 3,000. Mike Takayama called and so did Fujiya.
All three players checked both the turn 8♣ and river 9♠ and Takayama tabled K♣ 6♠– good enough to force both opponents to muck their hands.
Kai Paulsen opened to 800 preflop and got a caller from Neil Arce.
Flop: 9♦ 7♠ 2♠
Arce check-called Paulsen’s 1,100 bet; check-called again a 2,100 bet on the turn 3♣; and once again, check-called 4,000 on the river J♦.
Paulsen shows pocket aces and Arce mucked his hand.
