HomeAfter three buzzing days of poker action at the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino, the final table of the APT Poker Room Inaugural Tournament was established with Randy Boone from Canada sitting way above the rest with a massive arsenal of 2,328,000 chips at the end of the day.

Boone entered Day 2 as one of the chip leaders from Day 1A, and from the moment he sat down, he consistently bumped up his stack by playing a lot of pots and railing some short stacks. By the first break, he had already doubled up to 250,000 chips, and at bubble time, he quietly sat with well over 500,000 chips. When the field eventually downsized to 21 players, he switched to demolition mode, and scooped up another 300,000 to bring up his stack to 875,000.
But Boone was not even close to being done. He continued to decimate players with unbelieveably crazy winning hands that left everyone dumbfounded. In one hand, he snap-called an all in at the flop holding only a mid-pair with his J-10 against A-10 two pairs. However, runner runner was very good to him as it filled up his gut-shot straight on the river. In another hand, he stole away the pot and booted a player in the process with a sick Pocket Kings versus Pocket Kings showdown that awarded him with a stunning hearty nut flush. To end the day, he denied Jong Legaspi a final table berth by clubbing him with a K to 9 straight flush.
With that final bust out, Boone skyrocketed over the 2 million chip mark, keeping far ahead of the second highest contender, Dave Erquiaga who has just over 1 million in chips. Boone will return for the final table backed up by a third of the total chips in play.

The final ten will be returning tomorrow at 4pm to battle it out one last time, each one hoping to claim the highly attractive first cash prize reward of PHP104,500, the Championship Trophy, plus an added $2,200 seat to the APT Philippines 2015 Main Event. All other finishers of the final table will be receiving a bonus ticket to an APT satellite added to their cash winnings.
