Sky Soars on Deja Vu Day 1B

Another 198 for the APT Asian Series Manila Main Event

After a slow start, we began to see double at the APT Asian Series Manila. Previously on Day 1A, 198 players packed into Resorts World Manila’s tournament area and the second starting day there was exactly the same number of players. This brought the combined total entries for the PHP 50,000 Main Event to 396.

Quite a few players who busted out of Day 1A were back for another crack at a deep run. Returning to the field were Ramil Tandoc, Norbert Koh, Euryd Rivera, Martin Gonzalez, Wally Sombero, Jojo Allado and Juicy Li. Quite a few notables also left it till today to enter the tournament. They included Jun Te, Mark Benasa, Jojo Tech, Mark Amparo, Tommy Le, Emman Segismundo, Don Carmona and Mike Takayama.
